Extra! Extra! Blog all about it!

Alright so you've seen all these people blogging and heard what great things it can do for your business, but you're thinking "Why? How can a blog improve my business?"
Blogging is a way for YOUR personality to shine through and for people to get to know who you are and what you're about.  It's a useful tool for you to take advantage of your own creativity and share your knowledge with others.  I like to think of it as a tool to help build relationships "on auto-pilot" in a sense because as you add content to your blog and gain a following, your readers will come back for updates, and the more they read, the better they get to know you.  Why does that matter? It matters because relationships are the foundation of ever successful business.  People are more apt to do business with someone they know and have learned they can trust, rather than a complete stranger.  Makes sense, right?

Now, everybody has their own writing style - some people have the gift of using big words and sound really smart while others write very simply.  What's important is you do what is comfortable for you.  You can learn what your writing style is by starting a journal and writing in it anytime you get the urge.  Of course with anything else, practice makes perfect! The more you write in your blog, the better and easier it will get.
